Julie Chen Moonves hosts the sensational summer reality series Big Brother, which returned for the 22nd season on in August, with CBS.Chen Moonves was one the first hosts on The Daytime Emmy Award-winning talk program The Talk, serving as moderator and host from between 2010 and 2018. The real reason she was interested in the show came after she began writing and received an Emmy. She also won an Emmy for hosting an excellent entertainment talk show. The Talk examines contemporary events by looking through the eyes of five hostesses. Chen Moonves hosted CBS News The Early Show's early morning news program The Early Show for a 10 years. Before that, Chen Moonves was the CBS Morning News' anchor as well as the anchor for news on The Early Show. After the attacks of 9/11, she was sent to Cairo and found the hijacker's lead father to give him an eye-opening exclusive interview. Chen Moonves interviewed celebrities such as Denzel Washington and Angelina Jolie. Also, she spoke to the former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani and Queen Rania. Chen Moonves covered the Emmy Award-winning CBS Sunday Morning News program. He also interviewed celebrities such as Jamie Lee Curtis or Paula Abdul. Prior to The Early Show he was a CBS own station journalist in New York City, WCBS. Previous jobs included working as a reporter at ABC NewsOne, the network's associated news service (1992-1995) and a desk-assistant in ABC News' Los Angeles Bureau (1990-1991) as well as finishing her last year of school from the University of Southern California. Her first broadcasting job as a Desk Assistant on ABC News' late-night show Nightline featuring Ted Koppel. Ted Koppel is still one of her favorite journalists. Chen Moonves and Ted Koppel were co-hosts on Anatomy of a Riot - a primetime television special which won the Columbia du-Pont award - which looked at what happened during the Los Angeles riots of 1992.
